Why Did You Decide to Become a Physician Assistant?
Jack always wanted to work in medicine since he was a child. He grew up seeing his father dealing with a variety of health issues that limited his physical abilities and impacted his day-to-day life, and one of those was sleep apnea. For countless years, he watched his father struggle with heart issues and chronic fatigue due to his undiagnosed sleep apnea. Now, as a Physician Assistant, Jack is able to help countless patients struggling with the same issues as his dad did, and that’s incredibly fulfilling.
Where Did You Study?
Jack completed his undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University. He then completed the Physician Assistant Program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and then received his Master's in Neurological Surgery from the University of Nebraska. Today, he maintains his commitment to stay up to date with the latest advancements in his field by continuously completing additional training and sharpening his skills.
Outside of the Office, What Do You Like to Do?
As a father and grandfather, you can find Jack spending time with his children, including fishing with his boys. He also enjoys working on cars and spending time outdoors. An interesting fact about Jack is that he’s fluent in Spanish.
